It's really bad (Pokémon Anime)

A large amount of what happens doesn't follow the games, the writing is awful, the only reason anyone watches it is because they liked it when they were 6. Anyone disagree?

Most of the time, Gym battles are quite fun in the anime (of course there are also some stupid stuff in some of those, like half the Kanto gyms and Mossdeep's gym)

When BW was coming out they were acting as if it's a reboot of the series (I definitely remember that) and I actually hoped they'll finally give the anime a new protagonist, but it din't happen. They had a great opportunity with Kalos too.

Origins was a little more like what I'd like the anime to be.

Disclaimer: I haven't sen the pokémon anime since midway through Johto, and I've only seen half of Origins.

Oh yeah, there was origins. That was pretty good. I'd say the anime should have stayed like that.
