3DS Virtual Console Speed Runs

Will the 3DS Virtual Console versions of Red, Blue, and Yellow speed runs be accepted along side the console speed runs? There doesn't seem to be any difference between the console and the virtual console version.

Has there been a decision made about this topic, because even though it seems like there is no difference I don't know what the community thinks.

If there's no difference, they're fine.
Or at least, until anything is found, there's no decision to make. The games are normal official releases, speedruns on them are fine.

The only difference is in glitched categories that use money manipulation. The money slot of the inventory is treated differently on VC. Could be interesting if someone finds a money manip that works on VC but I doubt it'll affect whether VC can be listed on leaderboards or not. The workaround for making it work on VC would surely have to be slower than the GB version of the route.

I did 2 test NSC runs and in both I got 64 more ¤j than I should normally have... You will obviously agree with the fact that it doesn't really make the run faster Kappa Everything else seems to work btw.

=> Would VC still be allowed for NSC if this gets confirmed with more testing ? (even if the only thing it changes makes the run a bit slower)

That was unrelated to Virtual Console, you used the wrong settings at the start of the game. The wiki route requires you to use Fast/Off/Shift settings, not Fast/Off/Set.
