Pokemon Stadium Category Rules

Gym Leader Castle Round 1 (ENG)

All emulators are hidden for this game by default, as all emulators play this game faster than any console can, and therefore do not produce accurate results, or provide fair competition.
  • Timing is by RTA, where timer starts at after pressing "Okay" at the team selection screen, and ends at the "Gym Leader Castle Clear!" screen.
  • Runs must be done on English version.
  • Saving and quitting (S + Q) is allowed.
  • You are limited to rentals only. You may not use imported Pokémon. This run may be done off a completed file, but you must complete every battle in the Gym Leader Castle of Round 1.
  • The only allowed emulator is Project 64 v1.6.
  • All other emulators are banned.
  • If using emulator, using save states and speedup for any reason is not allowed.
  • Using emulator to create custom palettes that are not usable on any kind of official console is not allowed.
  • If using emulator, the entire emulator, including the window border, must be captured and visible. An example can be seen here:

Complete the Game (ENG)

  • Timing is by RTA, where timer starts at after pressing "Okay" at the team selection screen, and ends at the "Pokemon Stadium" logo that shows before the credits play for Round 2.
  • Runs must be done on English version.
  • Saving and quitting (S + Q) is allowed.
  • You are limited to rentals only. You may not use imported Pokémon. This run must be done off a clean file with no battles completed. As such, you must complete every battle in both Round 1 and Round 2. Having teams registered before you start is allowed.
  • The only allowed emulator is Project 64 v1.6.
  • All other emulators are banned.
  • If using emulator, using save states and speedup for any reason is not allowed.
  • Using emulator to create custom palettes that are not usable on any kind of official console is not allowed.

  • Runs must be done on English version.
  • Saving and quitting (S + Q) is allowed.
  • You are limited to rentals only. You may not use imported Pokémon. This run must be done off a clean file with no battles completed. As such, you must complete every battle in Round 1. Having teams registered before you start is allowed.
  • The only allowed emulator is Project 64 v1.6.
