Party switches won't work correctly for Any% NSC

Post by ssbm_ape » Thu Nov 03, 2016 6:30 pm

So, when I do the the party switch stuff for the Ditto Route it always results in much of the screen becoming blue. Everything up until that point goes as it should. By the end I have no items but I dunno if that matters. I've yet to get it to work in my multiple run attempts. Does anyone have any ideas on why this may be?

thanks

Are you doing the trainer id at the start of the run? Your bulbasaur should have a trainer id 30422
Are you doing the correct shopping?

Hmm, it instead has an ID for 44711. At the shop I buy 8 Pokeballs. Is pressing start when the Chansey comes up the only factor to the trainer ID?

You need to do the inputs exactly as in the video in the guide

When squirtle disappears, hold start, when the screen goes white, hold A. and hold B in the introduction because you don't have fast text speed. Also make sure you don't pick up the antidote. If you pick it up you can only fix it by tossing it BEFORE buying the escape rope

Alright, I'll try a run in a little bit with this additional knowledge. Thank you!
