Is there a way to skip farfetched and/or hawlucha by using chespin and getting bulldoze early instead of SD?

While I don't know the route, I'm assuming Swords Dance is too important to let go, as Lucario, Farfetch'd and Hawlucha can all learn Swords Dance. There's also no point of skipping Quacklin' because it's easy to get, has a set nature and IVs, and has aerial ace.

Simple answer - No lol

Long Answer -

Farfetch'd is simply much faster, and safer then chespin. Chespin struggles in the 1st gym (it can die to literally every fight in the gym due to rollout accuracy) and farfetch'd cleans up the gym battles, and every battle until hawlucha faster then chespin would. Bunnlby is very early in the run so the resets aren't too bad (getting a bunnlby is around 20% per encounter and you get around 3 tries) and you would need to reset for chespin stats to beat the gym, so the resets would be around the same.

Hawlucha is 100% necessary because without Hawlucha the 2nd gym is nearly impossible to beat (you should see the old strats lol). And even if you managed to beat the 2nd gym without Hawlucha the 3rd gym is really difficult. (old route would catch a golurk after the 2nd gym which why not just get a hawlucha at that point?) Also catching Hawlucha allows us to get the Lucky egg, which saves minutes throughout the run. Never needing to mega evo lucario saves a ton of time.

Quick Edit: Also Swords Dance is nearly necessary on Lucario. It makes some fights possible (see every gyarados battle)

Thanks for the response. I just have one question: doesn't Lucario come with Sword's dance? I can't remember.

I am dumb.... I meant to say hawlucha needs swords dance, not lucario.

Two questions:
1) How happy does your lead need to be to get the Lucky Egg?
2) Does the Sweet Heart increase happiness, and if so, by how much?

Is the Lucario vs Lucario a speed tie or is your lucario always faster? Does lucario have set IV/DV's? Do hawlucha's stats matter or any would do? Are there any massive reset points?

1. I think you need to reach max happiness to get Lucky Egg.
2. It does increase happiness, but I have no idea by how much.

1. Your Lucario is always faster (hasty nature).
2. Lucario has set ivs.
3. A +attack/+speed nature saves some turns, but unless you get terrible stats it doesn't matter.
4. Double Battle in front of Day Care/Catching Hawlucha

Is a run that uses soft resets automatically invalid?
