For glitched categories, save data must be cleared before New Game so that Save Data is at a constant state. I'm not exactly sure whether grinding the three starters and other Pokémon on earlier-game trainers is better than doing the grinding on the Elite Four, but I may be wrong. I'm leaning towards Elite Four grind, but you'll have to test it out yourself.

There are higher level Tentacools in Seafoam Island while surfing (minimum level 20), so you should catch one there instead.

How will you be able to simulate sprite decompression times (since they differ because different routes may fight different trainers)...

Slowbro I want to know, what do you plan to code your simulation in? Will you use a Lua script with BizHawk, or will it be something entirely stand-alone (no emulator)?

My earlier thought was assuming Clefable gets Thunderbolt which it doesn't because it is reserved for Nidoking, so Clefable is slowed down quite a bit. Still interested how faster/slower it is than Squirtorino.

Squirfablerino anyone Kappa? (Squirtle -> Clefairy in Mt. Moon -> Nidorino in Safari) It would actually be pretty nice since Clefable doesn't learn any level up moves so you can take full advantage of IT. Only downside is lol 85% Mega Punch (unless you get Body Slam Kappa) and Mega Punch is a flash ...

Made a simple hack where HP bars scroll (smoothly) twice as fast.
Also with fastest text because wyanaut.

If anyone wants, I can make a hack with no scrolling at all (kinda like Animorphs)
