A Slew of Changes
Here's a quick update on some changes and discussions we've had the past couple months: The rules surrounding Gambatte-Speedrun are official and out of their grace period ; this has been the case for a little bit now, but worth mentioning. Ruby/Sapphire JPN will be split to Any% and Any% Glitchless ...

Re: RNG Manip for different palettes
The effort it would take to find any sort of new RNG manip (which, after trash cans, there isn't a need) is much higher than just learning Rock Tunnel in the dark, to be perfectly honest.

Try not to make multiple posts in a row like that, and instead try to say everything in one post if possible.

Update to Game Boy Interface
GBI has been updated, adding a hard reset fade out feature to match the vanilla NTSC GBP disc. Due to this, no further discussion of penalties will be necessary. All runs using GBI prior to this change will be grandfathered in on the leaderboards. If you are a current/prior GBI user, please update y...

Re: Freedom Run?
I heard Clefable's pretty viable. On a more serious note, this doesn't really seem too much different from, say, the old Squirtle route, except with arbitrarily added restrictions. There's also a Raticate and a Pidgeot route around somewhere for sure (more akin to what you're suggesting), and I'm pr...
