Re: Sapphire Damage Calc

Great, thanks.

Python is way better than Excel to do mass damage calculations (especially if you only vary 1 parameter at the time). I have a script for gen4 and one for gen5 that does mass calculation. I'll see if I can write a script for gen 3 too.

Re: Simple Questions & Answers

Two questions: 1) How happy does your lead need to be to get the Lucky Egg? 2) Does the Sweet Heart increase happiness, and if so, by how much? 1. I think you need to reach max happiness to get Lucky Egg. 2. It does increase happiness, but I have no idea by how much. Is the Lucario vs Lucario a spe...

Re: Remove all emulated runs from leaderboards

A lot of people have been critical about Werster making a decision to make a separate leaderboard and say that it was decided that emulator time do not count as world record anymore, but you gotta realize that if people believe what he says without checking if it actually happened, they are fools a...

Re: Remove all emulated runs from leaderboards

The actual topic at hand is something like this: http://i.imgur.com/Ef2oOqe.png (modified the info on the leaderboards just to make an example) Of course, with much prettier badges and layout. There is NOTHING wrong with something like this, It gives the console and EMU runners something to compare...

Re: Remove all emulated runs from leaderboards

Yo, this thread has been going nowhere since page 2. Some people have been sticking on their opinion since the beginning, others have switched based on the arguments given in this thread, while others don't even understand the issue going on and try to prove points which are irrelevant to this "deba...

Re: Remove all emulated runs from leaderboards

And that's reason enough to consider this, not even touching upon legitimacy issues. with respect to banning emulator, we should ONLY be concerned with legitimacy/accuracy issues. No we should NOT only be concerned with legitimacy/accuracy issues. Sorry but you are a fool if you think these are the...

Re: Remove all emulated runs from leaderboards

Yo G_heinz, did you read plexa post or only part of it? He clearly states why console and emulator cannot be compared: First of all I'm making the assumption that emulation is accurate and that it offers no advantages over console . i.e. if a runner has put X hours into perfecting movement on an emu...

I have tried to summarize the key arguments by both parties regarding the subject of this thread (remove emulator time for the [world record {emphasis...

I didn't want to post but when I see this post... I can't believe people are still trying to put on the same leaderboard apples ...
